During the first week of blogging idol I saw a lot of the competition entries creating competitions for increasing their subscriber base; however I was inclined to do this at the time as I felt that I would take the competition at a different pace. However this week’s strategies have been just that. I have set up the first ever competition to be held on my website which is aimed at increasing my subscriber base, obviously we are not permitted to give away cash prizes so here is where I got creative. I was able to take prize ideas from the first week of blogging idol and use my own skills too, to make a package of prizes which I feel are feasible for the competition it’s self.
Not only have I set up a competition this week on my blog, but I have also started to experiment with posting twice in one day instead of just the once. This has been an aim of mine for a while now and since my creative mind seems to be back and I am able to write and write I may as well take advantage of this. However lack of ideas for articles has in the past been a pitfall of mine however this seems to have been overcome.
The third and last strategy of this week linking in with taking advantage of my creative mind is that I have taken it upon my self to create two more new eBooks focusing on SEO and keyword research, the plan was to make two eBooks about 10 pages long which summarised each point in depth yet allowing it to be easily digested. These will be available for free next week and are going to be a promotional technique for driving more traffic to my website and increasing the popularity of my site.
